BRAHMS: THE BOY II, director William Brent Bell's sequel to THE BOY, was originally scheduled to reach theatres back in July. But that didn't happen. Then the film was given a December release date. That didn't happen either. Now the flick hits next month. And today we have the poster.
Check it out below! Then mark your calendars as the trailer hits tomorrow!
The MPAA has slapped the sequel with (big surprise) a PG-13 rating for "violence, terror, brief strong language and thematic elements." Written by Stacey Menear, who also wrote the first movie, BRAHMS: THE BOY II tells the following story:
Unaware of the terrifying history of Heelshire Mansion, a young family moves into the estate, where their young son soon makes an unsettling new friend, an eerily life-like doll he calls Brahms.
I'm looking forward to seeing this sequel and checking in on Brahms again. I enjoyed the first movie more than I was expecting.
BRAHMS: THE BOY II is directed by William Brent Bell from a screenplay written by Stacey Menear. Matt Berenson, Gary Lucchesi, Tom Rosenberg, Jim Wedaa, Eric Reid, Roy Lee, and Richard S. Wright produced. It stars Katie Holmes as Liza, Ralph Ineson as Joseph, Anjali Jay as Dr. Lawrence, Owain Yeoman as Sean, Christopher Convery as Jude, Natalie Moon as Pamela, and Fabio William as Brahms. BRAHMS: THE BOY II will creep around inside the walls of your local multiplex on February 21, 2020.
