Arrow in the Head’s John Fallon recently teamed up with Kevin Interdonato of City on a Hill and the indie hit Bad Frank (review here) for a hardcore thriller called Braek – and now a sales trailer has arrived in preparation for its screening at the upcoming European Film Market (details below). Check it out in the embed above!
Fallon directed the film from a screenplay he wrote with Interdonato, who also stars as the film’s nemesis Jesse. Interdonato is joined by Nick Baillie (Taken), Melissa Anschutz (Best Years Gone) and Alix Lane (Black Pumpkin). Danilo Rocha (Sick Minded), and Fallon himself co star.
The story centers on: The McCabe family’s weekend getaway was never meant to be a life-changing experience. Governor William McCabe (Baillie), a respected politician, was looking forward to some rest and relaxation. His beautiful wife Lauren (Anschutz) and distant stepdaughter Erin (Lane) strain to enjoy their time together, as the facade of the trophy family has worn dangerously thin. Things take a severe turn for the worse when a charismatic stranger (Interdonato) knocks on their door and triggers an unexpected chain of events.
Interdonato, Fallon and Baillie Produced the film. Braek was Executive Produced by Igor Princ of Princ Films. Samuel Pinault was the film’s Director of Photography. Rurik Sallé composed the score and Michael Nouryeh edited the picture. The sales trailer was produced by Garo Setian through his company Hungry Monster Entertainment and edited by his son Hunter Setian.
Braek will be screening at the European Film Market later this month, via Princ Films. The first screening will be held on February 17th at 4:15pm at the Parliament Studio Cinema in Berlin. A virtual screening is then scheduled for February 19th at 5:00pm at the Virtual Cinema 13. The Princ Films stand is located at the main market venue – Martin Gropius Bau, stand #175.
