Boyle vs. Roth

I’m not too sure how interested you all are in a little director vs. director verbal jabbing, but Danny Boyle ( 28 DAY LATER ) is taking off the gloves (to bitch slap his foe) and has talked the talk about HOSTEL director Eli Roth.

In a recent interview with the New York Daily News, Boyle pulled no punches when addressing the topic of Roth. “His movies aren’t even particularly well done,” Boyle says, “They’re not even scary. They’re horrible, but that’s not scary. It’s not suspense. And if you watch my films in detail, there’s actually not a lot of violence in them. You get numb with violence very quickly.”

Well there you have it. Personally, I’m with Boyle…but that’s just me. It will be interesting to see what Roth replies back with if anything at all.

Meanwhile Boyle has his next film, SUNSHINE ready to come out soon – and I can’t wait. The film looks amazing.
