Did anyone like BOOGEYMAN? The Stephen Kay directed, Barry Watson starred film about a young man traumatized by memories of terrible events he experienced in his childhood bedroom and who, years later, reluctantly returns home to face his fears of a monstrous entity that could be real or merely a figment of his imagination.
Yeah, didn’t think so. But that didn’t stop Ghost House from pumping a straight-to-dvd sequel of the most horribly uninteresting film of 2005. Well if you’re so inclined to get a peek of the sequel, starring Jigsaw himself Tobin Bell (why does he continue to make bad movies, he’s A-list now), then B-D has a treat for you.
B-D scored some stills of the creature in the film, and I must say, if the picture wasn’t a brightly lit (like the Pred-Alien photo), I’d be a little freaked out. You can check it out here.
BOOGEYMAN 2 goes a little something like:
Under the care of Dr. Mitchell Allen (Tobin Bell), Laura (Danielle Savre) checks herself into a mental health facility, still haunted by a paralyzing fear after witnessing the death of her parents at the hands of the Boogeyman. Once Laura joins the other patients, who are also prisoners of their own phobias and trapped in the institution, the Boogeyman returns, exterminating them one by one in a bloody tableau of torture.
The dvd will hit store shelves January 8th.
