Lee Pace played the character Ned on 22 episodes of Pushing Daisies, he appeared in the Hobbit movies as Thranduil, he was Ronan in Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain Marvel – and his next role may be as "slasher victim", as he has just signed on to star in the A24 slasher project Bodies Bodies Bodies alongside the previously announced Maria Bakalova, Amandla Stenberg, Pete Davidson, and Myha'la Herrold, as well as fellow new additions Rachel Sennott, Chase Sui Wonders, and Conner O'Malley.
Bodies Bodies Bodies is finally moving into production three years after A24 acquired the spec script written by Kristen Roupenian. Roupenian's script was said to show "heightened sensitivity to character development and social dynamics in a subversive way", and was described as
a shrewd character study where mystery and deep-seated scares blended in such a way that the company saw an opportunity to make a horror movie that could also be culturally relevant.
Halina Reijn, who made her feature directorial debut with the 2019 Dutch thriller Instinct, will be directing the film. A24's David Hinojosa is producing.
I first saw Pace in Steven Spielberg's Lincoln, and have been a fan of his since. Bodies Bodies Bodies sounds like a cool project for him to be a part of. I'm always on board to watch a slasher.
