We're sending our thoughts and good wishes to Bob Odenkirk this morning after news broke that the actor was rushed to the hospital after collapsing on the set of his show Better Call Saul.
According to TMZ, previous reports indicated that Odenkirk collapsed while shooting in L.A. but their sources close to the show say that it actually happened while shooting in New Mexico. Odenkirk and the cast were shooting on Tuesday when he suddenly collapsed. The actor was quickly surrounded by crew members who immediately called an ambulance.
More details about his condition still remain unclear as of this writing. It wasn't determined if the 58-yeard old actor was conscious when he was transported to the hospital but we do know that he is still there under medical care. Hopefully, this is nothing serious and he'll bounce back before we know it and we will definitely update you all on this story as more details about his condition emerge.
Odenkirk became known to most of us when he started playing attorney Saul Goodman on Breaking Bad. The character was popular enough that he earned his own spin-off, Better Call Saul, which is currently shooting its 6th and final season. Better Call Saul has received 40 Primetime Emmy nominations to date, winning two awards for the Employee Training short-form video. Other accolades include four PGA Award Nominations, 1 DGA Award Nomination, 15 WGA Award Nominations (and 2 wins), and a Peabody Award. Bob Odenkirk also became a bit of an unconventional action star this year with the release of Nobody, which received solid reviews and has a sequel in the works.
Get well soon Bob Odenkirk and here's to a speedy recovery. Also, if you need to take it easy, please do so. Your fans want what's best for you first and foremost.
