Blumhouse Productions and Amazon Studios recently teamed up for a project called Welcome to the Blumhouse, which will consist of eight "thematically connected" Blumhouse films that will be released through the Amazon Prime streaming service. The first four of those movies will reach Amazon Prime in October – and those might not be the only Blumhouse features to be released through Amazon next month. Several sites are reporting that Blumhouse's remake of THE CRAFT will be available to rent and/or purchase through Amazon Prime as of October 27th.
Blumhouse has not yet confirmed this news. If THE CRAFT is indeed going to be released through Amazon next month we should be hearing an official announcement, and seeing a trailer, very soon.
Based on the 1996 cult favorite witch movie THE CRAFT (which you can already watch HERE), the new film was directed by Zoe Lister-Jones and has the following synopsis:
When starting at a new school, Hannah befriends Tabby, Lourdes, and Frankie & quickly becomes the fourth member of their clique. Hannah soon learns that she somehow brings a great power to the quartet.
Cailee Spaeny, Gideon Adlon, Lovie Simone, Zoey Luna, Nicholas Galitzine, Michelle Monaghan, Julian Grey, and David Duchovny star.
We'll keep you updated on the release plans for THE CRAFT as more information is revealed.
