What’s New to Watch on Blu-ray: Monster Hunter, Fatale, and more

Listen up, my fellow collectors of physical media! The month of April is looking mighty grim in terms of Blu-ray releases, so we've got to make the most of March.

To kick this puppy off, we've got Paul W.S. Anderson's video game adaptation Monster Hunter. Starring Milla Jovovich and Tony Ja, and based on the best-selling Capcom video game franchise of the same name, Monster Hunter tells the tale of when Lt. Artemis and her loyal soldiers are transported to a new world, and they engage in a desperate battle for survival against enormous enemies with incredible powers. I'll be honest with you, folks. I haven't picked this one up yet, but morbid curiosity may win out before the weekend is through.

Another film that hit Blu-ray shelves this week is Fatale. Starring Hilary Swank, Michael Ealy, and Mike Colter, the logline for Fatale, goes a little something like this: After a one-night stand, a successful married man finds himself entangled in a cunning police detective's latest investigation. I remember watching the trailer for this one a few weeks back, and it looked intense. If you're looking for a solid thriller to watch this weekend, Fatale might fit the bill.

For all you Doctor Who fans out there, now's your chance to own Doctor Who: Revolution of the Daleks on Blu-ray. In this very special Doctor Who presentation, Jodie Whittaker is joined by guest stars John Barrowman, Chris Noth, Dame Harriet Walter, and Nathan Stewart-Jarrett for a brand-new holiday special. While the Thirteenth Doctor is locked away in a high-security alien prison, her friends discover a disturbing plan forming. A plan which involves a Dalek. How can you fight a Dalek without the Doctor?

Those are some of the larger highlights from this week, but there's also Shudder's presentation of Scare Me, and Crazy Samurai 400 vs. 1 to consider, too. There's also a Rick and Morty: Season 1-4 box set out in the wild, new seasons of Dragon Ball Z, the Girls Rule Collection, and of course, more anime!

Click on any of the covers below to see what else is up for grabs, then just select the film you want to watch and we'll transport you to our Amazon store!
