A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD, HANSEL AND GRETEL: WITCH HUNTERS, and WARM BODIES have a lot in common. They all feature over-the-top action, zombie-like creatures, CGI blood, and dynamic duo team-ups. I’ve only seen one of them and that was the unfortunate 5th entry in the DIE HARD series. I doubt an extended cut will improve it by much, but you never know. HANSEL AND GRETEL was a surprise hit, which seemed to bask in its cheesy glory, opening the doors to a sequel. WARM BODIES fared pretty well, too, giving rising star Nicholas Hoult another boost and adding another zombie pic to the ever-popular genre.
