If you happen to be in Montreal between July 19th and August 7th, you might use the occasion to check out Paul Hough’s intriguing new flick THE HUMAN RACE as part of the 16th annual Fantasia International Film Festival. Sporting a unique premise and a clever title, the movie was shot for a total of 30 days over a year and a half. Given that a fresh batch of impressively nasty images has been released, why not check’em out below…
THE HUMAN RACE revolves around the character of Veronica, a woman who suddenly finds herself in a surreal and horrifying marathon race where the rules are simple – ‘If you are lapped, you die. If you step off the path, you die. One hundred will start but only one will cross the finish line alive.’
The movie stars Paul McCarthy-Boyington, Trista Robinson, Eddie McGee and Celine Tien.
