Blake likes Pippa Lee

Blake Lively & Leighton Meester Current CW queen bee Blake Lively (a position she shares with right-pictured “Gossip Girl” frienemy Leighton Meester) has just been added to the cast of the upcoming drama THE PRIVATE LIVES OF PIPPA LEE. Under director Rebecca Miller from her own novel, which she adapted, the story follows the titular Lee (Robin Wright Penn) as her much older husband forces them to move to a retirement community, in the process of which she finds herself having a nervous breakdown. The impressive all-star cast includes Monica Bellucci, Alan Arkin, Julianne Moore, Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder. Lively’s role is as yet unspecified but we can only hope she’ll be in a Catholic schoolgirl uniform at some point – not only for the “Gossip Girl” tie-in but have you seen her in this thing? Damn! She can next be seen shuffling around some pants in the SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING PANTS sequel and in the anthology film NEW YORK, I LOVE YOU.
