Well here we are back at CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER. I thought before parting this evening that I would share a still of the lovely Ms. Scarlett Johansson with you. It’s actually more of a wallpaper or background but it’s still something new.
The photo is a promotion for Chevy’s 2014 Corvette Stingray. In the press release they ask “If the Black Widow had a sports car, what would it be?” I really haven’t put much thought into it but I guess this is a nice ride. It almost looks like it came straight out of a video game. I wasn’t thinking about the promo side of it. My mind immediately started coming up with corny lines to use in the article like, “ScarJo needs to get out of my dreams and into my car.” I know, I know.
The photo doesn’t actually show much of Johansson but I bet your imaginations will serve you well.
Here’s some of the press release if you’d actually like to see the car in person at the Chicago Auto Show:
So if the Black Widow had a sports car, what would it be? You don’t have to wait until the April 4 premiere of “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” to find out. Visitors to the Chicago Auto Show will see the world premiere of the black-on-black Corvette Stingray driven by S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Black Widow in the sequel to Captain America. They should not expect to see the Black Widow, but Chevrolet will distribute a limited-edition Captain America comic book to celebrate its team up with Marvel Entertainment, LLC. The Black Widow’s Stingray is one of 15 Chevrolet cars and trucks displayed for the first time at the Chicago show – at least one example from each segment showcasing the depth of Chevrolet’s current portfolio.
CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER hits theaters on April 4, 2014.
