It's been announced that BLACK PANTHER breakout star Letitia Wright is set to star in DEATH ON THE NILE, a feature film adaptation of the classic mystery by legedary crime author Agatha Christie. Upon boarding the star-studded vessel, Wright will join previously announced castmembers Gal Gadot (WONDER WOMAN), Armie Hammer (CALL ME BY YOUR NAME), Jodie Comer (KILLING EVE), Tom Bateman (MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS), and Kenneth Branagh (MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING) for the tale of a murder most foul.
Branagh will direct the film in addition to reprising his role as the mustachioed detective, Hercule Poirot. The story follows Poirot as he attempts to unravel the murder of a young heiress while on holiday in Egypt. This will be Branagh's second time dabbling in Agatha's classic "Christieverse," after directing and starring in 2017's MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS. Wright will play Rosalie Otterbourne, a lead suspect in the torrid tale of deception.
While filming won't begin on DEATH ON THE NILE until the end of September, you can check out Wright when she returns as Princess Shuri for Marvel's AVENGERS: ENDGAME, which is set to snap box office records in theaters on April 26th.
