The time has come, true believers, for Marvel Studios to take control of Hall H at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con! Marvel has an astounding amount of projects on the horizon, including the continuation of Phase 5, a variety of TV series, animation specials, holiday events, and more. It’s been a mystery trying to figure out what they’ll bring to Hall H this year, but the wait is officially over. Ladies and gentlemen, gird your loins for the official Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer!

Ryan Coogler returns to direct and co-write the screenplay with Joe Robert Cole. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever stars Letitia Wright, Martin Freeman, Lupita Nyong’o, Angela Bassett, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba, and Dominique Thorne for her on-screen debut as Riri Williams, aka Ironheart. Coogler told the Comic-Con audience, “We put our love for Chadwick into this film. We also put our passion. This film has a ton of action and humor. It’s also a roller coaster of a movie. It goes to new places in Wakanda that we’ve never been before but other corners of the MCU.

Delayed due to the pandemic, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has traveled a rough road throughout production. In addition to losing Black Panther‘s Chadwick Boseman to cancer in 2020, Letitia Wright suffered a critical shoulder fracture while filming. Fans have also pushed for Marvel to replace Letitia Wright after she shared anti-vax videos online at the height of the Covid-19 lockdowns. Needless to say, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has had its back against the wall for some time. The trailer looks absolutely beautiful, and it’s finally great to see Tenoch Huerta confirmed as Namor the Submariner! The end of the trailer does feature someone in the Black Panther suit, but their identity isn’t revealed. Any guesses?

The Black Panther sequel will hit theaters on November 11, 2022. In addition to the trailer, Marvel also released a haunting poster which you can see below. What do you think of Marvel’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer? Let us know in the comments!
