Black Panther: Wakanda Forever: New Trailer for the Marvel sequel drops online

After the reports that Kevin Feige gave that it was just too soon to recast T’Challa for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the brand new trailer for the film drops and gives us more of a peak at the movie’s tribute to the late actor. This is a big announcement day for the newest Marvel Studios film set to conclude their Phase 4. In addition to the releasing of the trailer, Marvel has also revealed the latest poster, which showcases more of Namor and his submariner people. As well as the announcement that tickets for the movie are now on sale.

“In the film, Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba) fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda. Introducing Tenoch Huerta as Namor, king of Talokan, the film also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena and Alex Livinalli.”

Fans have been anticipating the latest from Black Panther since the gigantic impact of the first film, also directed by Ryan Coogler, who made the Marvel movie right after the success of Creed, which starred Michael B. Jordan, whom he would also import into Black Panther. Ever since the unfortunate passing of Chadwick Boseman, who would play T’Challa and the Black Panther in a total of four Marvel films, there had been much debate on whether there should’ve been a recast or if the character himself should be laid to rest. Feige and Coogler seem to have decided to let T’Challa pass with his actor, but there has been no official word on who would be putting on the mask next. If the trailer may be any indication, it could very well be his sister, Shuri. Though it will still remain to be seen.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hits theaters on November 11.
