Thirty years after playing one of cinema's most memorable cannibals, the gonzo Chop-Top in THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2, horror icon Bill Moseley has signed on to play another flesh-eater in director Haynze Whitmore's creepy clown movie CREPITUS.

Written by Eddie and Sarah Renner, CREPITUS has the following plot description, which includes a cool little rhyme:

Seventeen year old Elizabeth and her younger brother, Julian are thrust into circumstances more terrifying than life with their abusive, drunken mother when they are forced to move into their deceased Grandfather's house.

Frightened beyond belief, they are forced to learn horrible things about their family history. Never mind the ghosts in the house, there is something far worse that takes an interest in them… a cannibalistic clown named Crepitus.

A crunch, a munch, a jingle
He'll make your spine a-tingle.
It's your fingers he wants to eat
That clown says they’re tender and sweet.
And when you're ten, he comes
again, for the remaining bits of your meat.
The moon will be bright, and if you
catch a sight his crooked ol' Crepitus pout,
Then you better run fast cuz he'll
snatch your ass and EAT ALL YOUR
INSIDES OUT!!

Moseley's co-stars will include Jackey Hall as The Mother, Raiden Moore as Julian, Caitlin Williams as Elizabeth, Mike Hard as Sheriff Jed, and Lance Paul as The Deputy.

Paul is also producing the film through his company Ginger Knight Entertainment.

Production on CREPITUS has not yet begun, but a couple sizzle trailers have been put together and can be seen below.

I was sold on this project as soon as I heard "Bill Moseley as a killer clown", so this is definitely one that I will be keeping an eye on as it comes together.
