Beyoncé, Netlflix! The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt to get a fourth season

"It's a miracle!" Actually, it's really not. If you've been paying attention to the success brought on by Netflix's THE UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT, the announcement of the series being granted a fourth season should come as no surprise. From the 30 ROCK duo Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, the Emmy-nominated series starring Ellie Kemper, Tituss Burgess, Jane Krakowski and Carol Kane follows the adorably dim-witted but iron-willed Kimmy (Kemper) who, after living in a cult for fifteen years, decides to reclaim her life and start over in New York City. She quickly finds a new job (working for Krakowski), a new roommate (Burgess), and a new beginning. It's a kooky fish-out-of-water comedy, where Kimmy must traverse the mean streets of The Big Apple in search of a new and better future for herself as she learns and explores the world around her.

The well-deserved success of THE UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT began when a straight-to-series order for NBC evolved into a Netflix exclusive, with a second season order already in the bag before the first was set to air. After the tremendous response to the first and second seasons of the off-kilter comedy series, a third season was ordered. What's more is that the third season hasn't even been on Netflix for a month and already we've been promised a fourth!

Fey and Carlock serve as the program's executive producers, with 30 ROCK alums Jeff Richmond and David Miner along for the ride as well. In the past the show has also starred recurring guests Anna Camp, Josh Charles, David Cross, Amy Sedaris, Tina Fey, Daveed Diggs and Jon Hamm.

My guess is that we can expect season 4 of THE UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT to premiere sometime early next year. For now, you can catch all three seasons of this hilarious show on Netflix today!
