Jordan Peele's horror flick GET OUT is still shrouded in shadow, but we have another casting announcement to nibble on. Joining the solid ensemble is Betty Gabriel, a young actress best known for EXPERIMENTER. She's relatively unknown at the moment, but that's going to change shortly once she appears in the upcoming THE PURGE: ELECTION YEAR, also a Blumhouse production.
Blumhouse productions can be on and off, but it's hard to deny that their stable of actors is pretty solid. Betty Gabriel will be joining the likes of J. K. Simmons, Ethan Hawke, Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, and Lin Shaye in appearing in multiple pictures from the company. She must show some considerable promise, because those names aren't kidding around.
GET OUT tells the story of:
a young African-American man who visits his Caucasian girlfriend’s family estate.
The couple is being played by Daniel Kaluuya and Allison Williams. The cast also includes Catherine Keener, Lil Rel Howery, Bradley Whitford, and Caleb Landry Jones in unspecified roles.
