"Eight more days 'til Halloween, Halloween, Halloween. Eight more days 'til Halloween, Silver Shamrock."
The third installment in the HALLOWEEN franchise is a love-it or hate-it kinda flick. The first film to be written and directed by Tommy Lee Wallace (IT 1990) HALLOWEEN III: SEASON OF THE WITCH was produced by John Carpenter and Debra Hill and followed Tom Atkins and Stacey Nelkin trying to stop the dastardly Dan O'Herlihy from making poison children's masks for the Halloween season.
We believe the film is one of the most underappreciated sequels of all-time and if you feel the same, today we have two videos from the film that we want to share. One is called "Best Parts" and as you might imagine, it features all the choice bits and pieces from the underappreciated sequel. The other video is called "Best Lines" and again as you might imagine, this video features the most classic lines spat during the flick.
Give them both a look-see below and then let us know what you think of Tommy Lee Wallace's HALLOWEEN III: SEASON OF THE WITCH below!
The third entry in the HALLOWEEN series centers on
Hospital emergency room Dr. Daniel "Dan" Challis (Tom Atkins) and Ellie Grimbridge (Stacey Nelkin), the daughter of a murder victim, who uncover a terrible plot by small-town mask maker Conal Cochran (Dan O'Herlihy), a madman who's planning a Halloween mass murder utilizing an ancient Celtic ritual. The ritual involves a boulder stolen from Stonehenge, the use of Silver Shamrock masks and a triggering device contained in a television commercial — all designed to kill millions of children.
HALLOWEEN III: SEASON OF THE WITCH was written and directed by Tommy Lee Wallace and starred Tom Atkins, Stacey Nelkin, and Dan O'Herlihy. John Carpenter provided the film's score and produced along with Debra Hill. It was released by Universal Pictures on October 22, 1982.
