Beowulf pics!

It’s tough for me to hear the name Robert Zemeckis and not think of FOREST GUMP, so it’s needless to say I have a tough time seeing him doing a gritty film like BEOWULF. But then again, it’s not like BEOWULF is a super gory film, but still – this is the man who made THE POLAR EXPRESS. Anyways, two new pics (one above and one below the story) from the film have been released to those “proper” journalists over at the L.A. Times. The pics of the film don’t give too much away about the film, but at least you get a good idea of what Anthony Hopkins looks like in costume!

BEOWULF is an adaptation of the famous Anglo-Saxon story about a mighty warrior named Beowulf who slays the demon Grendel and incurs the wrath of its monstrous yet seductive mother, in a conflict that transforms a king into a legend.
