Okay, maybe I’m a little slow on the uptake but
when did MTV start churning out horror films. I mean I understand that it was
only a matter of time, especially with so many slasher’s geared toward the teen
and pre-teen audience, but now they’ve started going STD too? I must be getting
old.

With that said,

Fango scored some pics, as well as the DVD cover for BENEATH,
which doesn’t necessarily sound like a bad flick, although I won’t lie when I
say I don’t expect much from the folks at MTV.

Starring the cute as a button Nora Zehetner,
BENEATH is about
a girl who leaves her home town after
getting into a terrible car accident that disfigures her older sister. Years
later, upon returning, Christy begins suffering frightening visions that
threaten to become reality.

The flick will be directed by
Project Greenlight finalist Dagen Merrill and co-written
with Merrill and Kevin Burke. The DVD hit’s shelves August 7th, and you can see
