Two brilliant actors and one very sexy actress have been cast in an upcoming thriller called AUTOBAHN from WELCOME TO THE PUNCH director Eran Creevy. Production on the film will start on Monday, and THR has learned Ben Kingsley, Anthony Hopkins and Felicity Jones have joined the project. They will star alongside Nicholas Hoult, who has been attached to AUTOBAHN since 2013.
AUTOBAHN will follow "a young American couple Casey (Hoult) and Juliette (Jones), who are plunged into a game of cat and mouse across Germany after they find themselves caught between two ruthless criminals (Hopkins and Kingsley)" and the script comes from THE NUMBERS STATION scribe F. Scott Frazier.
Joel Silver will be producing AUTOBAHN with his Silver Pictures banner, and he has high praise for F. Scott Frazier's script and the cast for his company's new film.
When I first read F. Scott Frazier's script for Autobahn, I knew it had the makings of a great action movie. It's a gritty, adrenaline-fueled thrill ride through Europe with an incredible cast.
Yeah, I'd say that's one hell of a cast. I don't know about the rest of you, but Anthony Hopkins and Ben Kingsley driving around and terrorizing a young couple sounds fantastic. I like Nicholas Hoult and Felicity Jones as well, but Hopkins and Kingsley in a movie together as villains is a cream dream in my opinion. I also thought WELCOME TO THE PUNCH was great, so I'm definitely interested in seeing another movie from the director, especially with this very solid cast.
