Bella Thorne's list of genre credits continues to expand. Just one day after we heard that the actress will be making her feature directorial debut on a thriller, it has been announced that she'll also be starring in another psychological thriller. This one is called PENTHOUSE A, and it's set to be directed by Franck Khalfoun, whose credits include PREY, P2, and the MANIAC remake.
Thorne and Khalfoun previously worked together on AMITYVILLE: THE AWAKENING. That film was shot in 2014 but didn't manage to get released until three years later. Hopefully things will go more smoothly for PENTHOUSE A.
Scripted by Peter Dowling, this film will star Thorne as
a jilted lover who hooks up for a short-term relationship with the wrong person and ends up captive in a high-rise residence.
Jeremy Wall of Polaris Pictures is producing alongside Alix Taylor. Ksana Golod and Thor Bradwell are executive producing.
Electric Entertainment holds the worldwide rights to PENTHOUSE A and is launching international sales at the American Film Market.
