Behold Shudder’s official Creepshow poster

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

The first six-episode season of Shudder's upcoming Creepshow series is based on the George A. Romero / Stephen King classic horror anthology movie of the same name. It's all set to hit the streaming platform later this year and today we have the show's official poster to share with you guys.

Check it out below!

Personally, I find the poster to be kind of … meh. Not to be a jerk or anything.

That said, I do dig the fact that it looks like they included a picture of Romero on top of the TV. That's a solid gesture. But how about the infamous ashtray that was in every segment of the original movie? That would have been a nice touch. But overall it's not bad. It's just kinda 'meh' considering how classic and utterly badass the posters were from not only CREEPSHOW and CREEPSHOW 2 but TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE: THE MOVIE as well. But what are you gonna do, am I right? It ain't easy coming up with something as classic as THOSE three posters.

The six-episode first season is all set to star Adrienne Barbeau, Giancarlo Esposito, Tobin Bell, Tricia Helfer, Dana Gould, David Arquette, Jeffrey Combs, Kid Cudi, Big Boi, Bruce Davison, and DJ Qualls. You can check out the full list of stories set to be told in the first season right over HERE.

Shudder's Creepshow is produced by the Cartel with Monster Agency Productions, Taurus Entertainment, and Striker Entertainment. Stan Spry, Jeff Holland, and Eric Woods are executive producers for the Cartel; Greg Nicotero and Brian Witten are executive producers for Monster Agency Productions; Robert Dudelson, James Dudelson, and Jordan Kizwani are executive producers for Taurus Entertainment; Russell Binder is executive producer and Marc Mostman co-executive producer for Striker Entertainment. Creepshow will premiere on the Shudder streaming service this year.
