Baywatch movie finds its C.J. Parker

Can she live up to the bathing suit of Pamela Anderson?

That'll be the question most asked of model Kelly Rohrbach, who will be portraying the character C.J. Parker in the big-screen adapation of BAYWATCH starring Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron and Alexandra Daddario. The role was popularized by the blonde bombshell Anderson during five seasons of the show's syndicated run from 1992-1997, and catapulted her to superstardom as a result. 

Rohrbach was the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Rookie of the Year in 2015, but don't let her good looks fool you into thinking that's all she needed to land this role. She attended Georgetown University where she earned degrees in both Theater and Performance Studies, and she also studied at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. Therefore, thinking she's just another pretty face is foolish… She may have the acting chops to pull of the comedic approach the film is said to be taking with the source material.

With a few TV appearances on her resume as well as a few independent film roles, there's not too much to go on as far as seeing her work in action… but Woody Allen did cast her in his next film, so there's that. And The Rock did put forth some glimpses at her running in slow-motion, an important element needed to make C.J. Parker work on-screen, and, by the looks of it, she should be perfectly fine.
