Batman V Superman writer wanted for Zack Snyder’s Justice League

Coming out of Comic-Con, ahead of Warner Bros. panel tomorrow morning, is news that Oscar-winning writer Chris Terrio (ARGO) is being asked by the studio to take care of the JUSTICE LEAGUE movie which is said to be filming back-to-back. He’s said to have done such a great job on the BATMAN V SUPERMAN script that they’re looking to him to bring something as an answer to Marvel’s AVENGERS. I don't think it's a huge development that the guy who wrote the BATMAN V SUPERMAN movie so well is being asked to write the ensemble movie they are really working towards, but good for him I say. The amount of pressure on the man to churn out a great script for BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE must have been intense; so I'm relieved to hear the folks behind the project have faith in what he's doing.

The busy scribe is working on BUNKER HILL with Ben Affleck, and THE FOREIGNER with Matt Damon; so it’s safe to say he knows a few people and might be able to take on this gig without much effort. The Zack Snyder-directed film stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones) is set to play Aquaman.

Tomorrow is going to be a big day for stories and we're hoping to hear more about BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE which is set to land in theaters May 6, 2016.
