Geez, suddenly I don't know whether I should shout "Cowabunga" or perch atop the highest bell tower I can find, as part of an effort to get my brood on. SYFY has announced that BATMAN VS. TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES, an all-new animated movie that unites both timeless properties is on the way! The project based on the Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics miniseries co-presented by James Tynion IV and Freddie Williams II will arrive this spring courtesy of a partnership between Warner Bros. Animation, Warner Home Entertainment, DC Entertainment and Nickelodeon. In the film, Batman will team up with the pizza-powered mutants to defeat a selection of some of the Caped Crusader's most deadly foes.

Iconic voice actor Troy Baker, who voiced Gotham's Dark Knight for the WB's Batman: Arkham Origins video game, will lend his vocals to both Batman and the Joker for the upcoming animation. Meanwhile, Darren Criss (GLEE, LITTLE WHITE LIE) will voice Raphael, while Saturday Night Live's Kyle Mooney will play Michelangelo, with Baron Vaughn (BLACK DYNAMITE) and Eric Bauza (UNIKITTY!) providing vocals for both Donatello and Leonardo, respectively.

Oh, but the cast doesn't stop there. Rachel Bloom of CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND fame will also star as the voice of Barbara Gordon aka Batgirl, with Tom Keeny (SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS) portraying the Penguin, John DiMaggio (FUTURAMA) as Mr. Freeze, Tara Strong (BATMAN: THE KILLING JOKE, MY LITTLE PONY: THE MOVIE) as both Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, Carlos Alazraqui (PLANES, HAPPY FEET) as Bane, and Cas Anvar (PUNISHER: WAR ZONE, SHATTERED GLASS) as Ra's al Ghul.

BATMAN VS. TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES will burst out of the shadows and onto 4K, Blu-ray, and Digital late this spring.
