The last year has seen the continuation of some of the best shows on television and some incredible new ones hitting the airwaves, all continuing to establish this as the new great era of TV. On top of vying for ratings, all these series and TV movies have been put through some intense campaigning for major awards, and now the time is here to finally see the nominations for this year's biggest television awards ceremony — the Emmys.
Awarding everything under the sun and then some when it comes to TV, the best of the best (and a few so-so entries) are represented here, with mainstays like GAME OF THRONES, VEEP, THIS IS US and BETTER CALL SAUL retaining strong places in major categories, while second-season and newer shows like BARRY, FLEABAG, MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL, RUSSIAN DOLL and more make their presence known.
