Bad CGI Sharks bites into trailer & VHS cover art

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Filmmaking trio Jason Ellsworth, Matthew Ellsworth, and Matteo Molinari's BAD CGI SHARKS is swimming our way onto Blu-ray and VHS via SRS Cinema in late September. And today we have the film's trailer (and Blu-ray/VHS cover art) to prove that it is – in fact – a real movie.

The trailer is pure super-silly killer shark good times – but, you know, with its tongue firmly planted in its cheek. Sure the sharks are fittingly horribly rendered, but that only serves to add ten types of charm to the proceedings. Plus, you've got to love the killer VHS cover art below. Even if this was a poster for a movie that never exsisted it would be a classic. Bring it on!

Check out the VHS artwork and Blu-ray artwork below along with the trailer and let us know what you think!

As if you really need an official plot synopsis at this point in time, the movie centers on:

When two estranged brothers, uptight Matthew and free-spirited Jason, reunite after years apart, they have much more to worry about than just clashing personalities. A magical muse brings their unfinished childhood script to life and soon a poorly rendered shark is floating through their neighborhood, thirsty for blood! As the brothers flee through the night, they’re forced to face their broken bond and dashed dreams.

The film is written and directed by Jason Ellsworth, Matthew Ellsworth, and Matteo Molinari, who star in the film along with Jenn Liu, Josh Sterling, and Shaun Landry. BAD CGI SHARKS will be released on Blu-ray and VHS via SRS Cinema in late September. Will you check out BAD CGI SHARKS?
