Halloween: Resurrection (2002)
Director: Rick Rosenthal
Stars: Busta Rhymes, Sean Patrick Thomas, Jamie Lee Curtis
The month is October, and the holiday is Halloween, the most spooktacular time of the year, so Awfully Good Movies is celebrating this year by finally dipping into the cinematic adventures of Halloween’s most famous psycho killer, Michael Myers, with 2002’s HALLOWEEN: RESURRECTION! After this franchise finally did John Carpenter proud with the 1998 installment HALLOWEEN H2O, Dimension Films had to go and bungle it all up with a sequel so bad, it ended the original HALLOWEEN series as we knew it. But when you kill off Jamie Lee Curtis 15 minutes into the movie, then hand the rest of the movie off to Busta Rhymes and a gang of stupid horny college students spending the night in Michael Myers’ old house for a reality show, getting killed off one-by-one by “The Shape” himself, you shouldn’t be surprised to end up with a movie as bad as getting toothbrushes in your trick-or-treat bag.
And if you wanna see what other goodies Awfully Good Movies has to offer in its trick-or-treat bag, dunk your head in the water and bob on some of these apples…
