Principal photography on AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR and AVENGERS 4 got underway almost a year ago, but, at long last, the epic undertaking which will feature just about every character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has finally come to an end. Although there's undoubtedly still additional shooting to be done, Anthony and Joe Russo celebrated the end of a grueling schedule with a cake appropriately topped by franchise baddie, Thanos (Josh Brolin).
That's certainly an epic cake, but how did it taste?! Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has previously teased that Thanos will prove just why he's the biggest and baddest villain in the opening minutes of AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR.
You know, we’ve been teasing Thanos since the very first Avengers film. Remember the end of Avengers, the very end of the movie he turns around in the chair and you realize something bad is coming. We’ve been teasing him for years and the trick is when you tease something for that long you have to deliver. Within the first five minutes of Infinity War, people will understand why Thanos is the biggest and baddest villain in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
I'm sure we'll have a much better idea of what AVENGERS 4 has in store for us by the time AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR is released, but a handful of recent set-photos, which show Chris Evans in his Battle of New York-era Captain America outfit, could indicate that time-travel may play some part in what Kevin Feige has called a finale to everything we've seen in the MCU.
