ATM trailer will make you keep your money under your mattress

A well-lit bank patrolled by security cameras doesn’t seem like a very potent area for a horror movie, but the new horror flick ATM seems like it’s trying to fit in with other recent entries. You know, films that get characters stuck in claustrophobic locations like elevators (DEVIL) or ski lifts (FROZEN) and scale the already-bad situation.

ATM was directed by David Brooks (this is his first feature) and stars Brian Geraghty, Josh Peck and Alice Eve as the unlucky co-workers who just wanted some cash out.

I have a friend who got mugged in an 24-hour ATM at a bank once- the two guys who did it got caught (cause they were on camera… duh) and are serving ten years. It was considered a bank robbery because they made him take money out. Somehow I don’t think this is a concern for the protagonist in this film. Watch him take increasingly silly methods to flush these people out, at the end quite literally.
