Ash vs. Evil Dead is a show none of us ever would have thought could possibly exist before a year ago, but now it's gearing up for a second season. For that we are thankful, but we're also thankful for their sense of humor in an election year that's so fraught with drama.
The show has decided to go patriotic in their newest artwork for season 2, bringing Bruce Campbell to the forefront once more and reminding us to never let ourselves get so distracted by politics that we forget to focus on how awesome he is. Check out the full artwork below, along with a scene promoting the Blu-Ray and DVD set of season one, available tomorrow.
Here's the short synopsis for Season 2:
The second season roars back into action with Ash leaving his beloved Jacksonville and returning to his hometown of Elk Grove. There, he confronts Ruby. The former enemies have to form an uneasy alliance as Elk Grove soon becomes the nucleus of evil.
Ash vs. Evil Dead stars Bruce Campbell, Lucy Lawless, Lee Majors, Ted Raimi, Dana DeLorenzo, Michelle Hurd, and Ray Santiago. There will also be a guest appearance by original film star Ellen Sandweiss, returning as Ash's sister Cheryl.
Ash vs. Evil Dead season 2 will premiere on Starz on Sunday, October 2nd at 8:00 PM.
