We could be in for some stormy weather as Arnold Schwarzenegger has teased that he’s playing Zeus for a mysterious new project. The former Governator of California revealed his version of Zeus on Thursday via Twitter. The image shows Schwarzenegger with long white hair and a beard to match. His golden armor looks as if it’s been buffed to a mirror shine and there is electricity flowing from his fingertips. If you thought Schwarzenegger was intimidating while wielding a gun or a tank, just wait until he shoves a lightning bolt where the sun doesn’t shine.
At 74-years-old, Schwarzenegger has enjoyed a long and storied career playing some of Hollywood’s most iconic characters. It’s true! The man has starred in such films as The Terminator, Conan the Barbarian, Commando, Predator, True Lies, and more! That’s an impressive list of top-tier titles to be associated with, and each has left a lasting mark on pop culture for generations. When you stop to think about it, Schwarzenegger’s starring as a benevolent god makes perfect sense. Interestingly, the poster that Schwarzenegger shared says this mysterious project will arrive in February. This means that we don’t have long to wait until we find out what this is all about.
Oh man, what if it’s a Super Bowl ad and nothing more? After all, the Super Bowl takes place in February. Ugh! What if this is a tease for a new mobile game? Is Schwarzenegger getting into the real-time strategy racket? I certainly hope this turns out to be something far more interesting, but then again, most of what Arnold signs on for is worth checking out. I suppose we’ll just have to wait and see.
What do you think Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Zeus poster is hinting at? Do you think it’s for an upcoming Super Bowl ad or something more? Let’s see your predictions in the comments section below.
