Are you Funny People?

Think you’re funny enough to hang alongside Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill and Judd Apatow? Think you should be cast in their upcoming movie FUNNY PEOPLE? If you’re nodding your frantically, normally this is the time where I’d have some people from the local mental hospital whisk you away to a quiet, padded room, but this time, I can actually help you!

Universal Pictures and MySpace are partnering on a contest where the winner(s) would be awarded a walk-on role in FUNNY PEOPLE, Judd Apatow’s upcoming comedy! To enter, contestants must log into MySpace and friend the FUNNY PEOPLE official MySpace page. Then in 100 words or less, users must leave a comment explaining why he or she should win the role. The deadline for submissions is December 8, 2008. Winners will be judged on quality of expression, originality, and enthusiasm so NO PRESSURE AT ALL. This is only, like, the chance of a lifetime.

Also, to help celebrate, Mr. Apatow has passed along a little teaser poster for FUNNY PEOPLE. It tells us nothing other than there are certainly some funny people in it. And really that’s all it needs to tell us. FUNNY PEOPLE hits theaters next summer.
