Six years after DISCOPATH, director Renaud Gauthier reaffirms his love of exploitation cinema. Harking back to the 1980s, AQUASLASH had its world premiere at FANTASIA Film Festival and combines all the essential elements of a mad slasher movie: gushing blood, bikinis and teenage turmoil.

And today we have the film's trailer and poster to share with you guys! You can check out the trailer above and the poster below and then make sure to hit us up and let us know what you think of AQUASLASH thus far.

In AQUASLASH extreme gore – via the Blood Brothers (TURBO KID and LES AFFAMÉS) juxtaposes with ’80s rock songs to create something both vintage and original. Gauthier’s second feature promises to do for water parks what JAWS did for beaches: Scare you away from the water!

It takes place at The Wet Valley Water Park where

high-school students have come to celebrate their graduation. With their hormones sent through the roof, they unleash their libido. And things grow gruesome when it turns out that a mysterious maniac has inserted giant razor blades into the water slides. The Wet Valley water park thus becomes the backdrop for a bloodbath, and everyone is a suspect…

Directed by Renaud Gauthier, Pierre-Alexandre Bouchard produced while Michael Kraetzer and Nicolás Onetti served as Associate Producers. The cinematography was handled by Derek Branscombe. Ryan Ali, Lanisa Dawn, Brittany Drisdelle, Nicolas Fontaine, Cameron Geller, and Paul Zinno star.
