Apple renews M. Night Shyamalan’s Servant for season 2

UNBREAKABLE + SPLIT = GLASS filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan has a mysterious new series headed towards Apple TV+ called SERVANT. The series premieres on Thursday, November 28. And today we've learned that Apple has given the show a second season order ahead of the thriller’s season premiere next week. Shyamalan made the announcement on NBC’s Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Written and created by Tony Basgallop (INSIDE MAN) SERVANT stars Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under), Toby Kebbell (KONG: SKULL ISLAND), Nell Tiger Free (Game of Thrones), and Rupert Grint (HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 2). It tells the tale of 

A Philadelphia couple in mourning. This cryptic “unspeakable tragedy” creates a rift in their marriage, but also welcomes a mysterious force into their home.

On top of his work on this show, Shyamalan will be penning and helming two new currently untitled thrillers for Universal Pictures that will be released in theaters on February 26, 2021, and February 17, 2023.
