A.P. Bio season four on the way at Peacock

Class will remain in session for the Peacock comedy series A.P. Bio. The streamer has renewed the Glenn Howerton-fronted comedy series for a fourth season.

Season 4 will arrive in 2021 and will consist of eight episodes. Peacock picked up the show for a third season after NBC canceled the series following its second season. NBCUniversal decided A.P. Bio would be a good fit for its streaming service because, despite linear ratings being soft, the show performed well in delayed viewing and online. Season 3 of A.P. Bio debuted in September on Peacock. Creator/writer/executive producer Mike O'Brien had this to say about the renewal:

"Everyone involved is so excited to do more episodes. We're so thankful to Peacock and everyone who watched! Season 3 was the most fun we've had. I want to dig even deeper into the main characters and also keep messing with the sitcom format."

Starring It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia's Glenn Howerton, the show follows disgraced Harvard philosophy scholar Jack Griffin (Howerton), who, after losing out on his dream job, is forced to return to Toledo, Oho, and work as a high school Advanced Placement biology teacher. Realizing he has a room full of honor roll students at his disposal, Jack decides instead to use the kids for his own benefit. The series also stars Patton Oswalt, Mary Sohn, Lyric Lewis, Jean Villepique, and Paula Pell.

This continues a nice time for star Glenn Howerton who also saw It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia earn a four-season renewal at FX. You can check out the A.P. Bio season four announcement video below!
