It's been a hell of a long road for THE NEW MUTANTS, but the X-MEN spin-off is finally slated to hit theaters next week, in the midst of a global pandemic; THE NEW MUTANTS don't get no respect. A new clip from THE NEW MUTANTS has been released, which finds Rahne Sinclair (Maisie Williams), Illyana Rasputin (Anya Taylor-Joy), Sam Guthrie (Charlie Heaton), Danielle Moonstar (Blu Hunt), and Roberto da Costa (Henry Zaga) fleeing from Demon Bear. In an effort to save her friends, Illyana makes the choice to go up against Demon Bear and unleashes a little Magik herself. Check out the clip above!
The official synopsis for THE NEW MUTANTS:
20th Century Studios in association with Marvel Entertainment presents “The New Mutants,” an original horror thriller set in an isolated hospital where a group of young mutants is being held for psychiatric monitoring. When strange occurrences begin to take place, both their new mutant abilities and their friendships will be tested as they battle to try and make it out alive.
Believe it or not, but THE NEW MUTANTS will be hitting theaters on August 28th.
