Tommy Doyle is a complicated figure in the HALLOWEEN mythos…mainly because the convoluted timeline of the HALLOWEEN franchise itself is overly complicated and convoluted. The main thing that is consistent in all iterations is that he was a boy who was attacked by Michael Myers and saved by Laurie Strode. Then, in some sequels, he became an obsessed teen and young adult, eventually played by Paul Rudd in HALLOWEEN 6 (though these events were retconned by H20, then again with the recent HALLOWEEN remake).
Now, here's what Tommy Doyle looks like in the upcoming HALLOWEEN KILLS, played in this iteration by Anthony Michael Hall. The still came from the actor's official Instagram, which has subsequently been taken down. Take a look for yourself:
Anyway, here's the official synopsis for the highly-anticipated sequel:
The next entry in the revived Halloween franchise, following Laurie Strode and her family as they are once again forced to confront the psychotic and murderous serial killer Michael Myers, and will focus on how the whole town deals with the threat.
Meanwhile, HALLOWEEN KILLS – directed by David Gordon Green and starring Jamie Lee Curtis – is expected to stalk theaters October 15th, 2021…but we'll keep you updated if there are any changes and/or delays.
So what do you guys think? Like Hall's version of Doyle? Either way, sound off below!
