Hulu's sci-fi anthology series Dimension 404 isn't a project I paid very much attention to when it was being assembled, but it has definitely caught my attention with its newly released trailer, and just in time – the series is set to premiere on the streaming service on April 4th.
Created by Dez Dolly and Will Campos, the show is
inspired by the Internet’s “404” error code. Dimension 404 aims to evoke that 3 AM feeling of wandering onto the weird side of the web, stumbling upon stories that cannot be explained in the world that we know.
Judging by the trailer, these unexplainable stories are wild, colorful, and look to be a whole lot of fun. The first season will consist of just six episodes, which will cover subjects like matchmaker sites, killer arcade games, a depressed supercomputer, a new cinema format, a '90s cartoon superhero, interdimensional monsters, and a strange energy drink.
The show's cast includes Lea Michele, Robert Buckley, Joel McHale, Sarah Hyland, Patton Oswalt, Ashley Rickards, Sterling Beaumon, Megan Mullally, Constance Wu, Tom Noonan, Lorenza Izzo, Daniel Zovatto, Kenneth Choi, and Cody Johns, with Mark Hamill as the narrator.
Check out the trailer below and see if Dimension 404 looks like something you would like to (binge) watch.
