Director Bryan Singer has tweeted a bunch of pictures from X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST and yesterday tweeted another new image from the upcoming movie. Singer previously confirmed that former United States president Richard Nixon will be a character in the film since part of it is set in the 1970's and the director sent out this tweet of Tricky Dick having a meeting in his Oval Office.

It's nothing flashy and doesn't involve any of the mutants that appear in the film, although there could be a hidden one in the group…you never know when shapeshifters are involved. Sneaky bastards. And I'm not positive but is that Ray Wise in the picture? The Twin Peaks actor played the Secretary of State in X-MEN: FIRST CLASS and I didn't know he was coming back for the new film, if that is him.
I really enjoyed how X-MEN: FIRST CLASS used the 1960's time period to their advantage and X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST should continue that trend even though Matthew Vaughn isn't directing the flick. I'm very interested in seeing how history will be used in the new film considering some of the real life events that happened in 1973.
X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST is currently filming and is set to hit theaters on July 18th, 2014.
