It used to happen all the time in the golden age of cinema but lately it’s not often we see two top A-listers, one male and one female, starring in a movie together. There’s usually one star and then the co-star. But in THE TOURIST we have two actors – Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp – who are both at the top of their game starring in a movie together.
We’ve got some brand new shots from the film today and I can’t decide what looks better: Jolie, Depp or the scenery. THE TOURIST opens on December 10th and here’s a little background on the film itself:
“Frank is an American tourist visiting Italy to mend a broken heart. Elise is an extraordinary woman who deliberately crosses his path. Against the backdrop of Venice, Frank pursues a potential romance but soon finds himself the pursued as he and Elise are caught in a whirlwind of intrigue and danger.”
