Director Andy Muschietti is getting close to assembling his adult version of the Losers' Club for IT: CHAPTER 2. James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Bill Hader, and James Ransone are set to play Bill, Beverly, Richie, and Eddie, respectively, and now it has been announced that Andy Bean will be playing the adult Stanley.

A relative newcomer, Bean made his feature debut in 2016's ALLEGIANT and might be best known for playing the character Greg in twenty-eight episodes of the Starz series Power.

Now Muschietti just needs to cast the adult versions of Ben and Mike.

The child actors who played the Losers' Club in the first film – Jaeden Lieberher, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Jeremy Ray Taylor, and Chosen Jacobs – are expected to shoot flashback scenes for CHAPTER 2. One actor who will definitely be returning is Bill Skarsgard, back in the role of Pennywise.

The first IT had the following synopsis:

A group of young kids faces their biggest fears when they seek answers to the disappearance of children in their hometown of Derry, Maine. They square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.

IT: CHAPTER 2 picks up twenty-seven years later, when the characters gather together in Derry for a rematch with the clown who tormented them as children.

The second half of Stephen King's story will be told when CHAPTER 2 reaches theatre screens on September 6, 2019.
