Anchor Bay to leave you In Fear in March

We've been keeping tabs on Jeremy Lovering's critically acclaimed international horror sensation IN FEAR for quite some time, patiently awaiting news as to when it will finally be available on VOD, DVD and Blu-ray. Now Anchor Bay has dropped the news as to when we'll get to check this badboy out for ourselves, announcing that the film will arrive in limited theaters on March 7 2014 before hitting VOD and disc on March 11.

Our very own Chris Bumbray got to peep IN FEAR at last years Sundance and gave the film high praise in his review, stating that Lovering delivers "a scary little ride, and a good horror sleeper. This is a great film to watch curled up with a date on a dark and stormy night." Sounds like it's right up my alley! Can't wait to peep this one myself.

Starring Iain De Caestecker (ABC’s hit series “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D”), Alice Englert (BEAUTIFUL CREATURES) and Allen Leech (“Downton Abbey”), IN FEAR has taken the horror world by storm, garnering rave reviews wherever it is played. The film stunned audiences in international film festivals in nine countries, including Canada’s Toronto After Dark, Germany’s Rosebud Entertainment Fantasy Festival, Spain’s Fancine – Festival de Cine Fantastico and South Korea’s Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival.

In Fear is a tense psychological horror about a young couple's fight to make it through the night. Home invasion but in a car. In real-time. Tom (De Caestecker) and Lucy (Englert) are trapped in a maze of country roads with only their vehicle for protection, terrorized by an unseen tormentor hell-bent on exploiting their worst fears. Driving, lost and tormented in the night, primal fears of the dark and the unknown give way to fear that you have let the evil in, or that it is already there.

No word yet as to what extras may be included on the DVD and Blu-ray release, but we'll keep ya updated on it as we hear it.
