Over the weekend at ScareLA it was announced that AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON will howl once again at Universal's Halloween Horror Nights this year at Universal Studios Hollywood.
This isn’t the first time the film property has been featured at a Universal park. Last year it was used at Universal Studios Orlando where it received some great reviews from attendees, and now the attraction is being moved to the west coast to howl at the moon. If you plan on attending we've got some advice for ya: Stay on the road. Keep clear of the moors. Beware the moon, lads.
The event gives guests the opportunity to step inside the film and experience a retelling of the horror classic – from the attack on the English moors to the hospital nightmares to witnessing the bone-crunching transformation of David from human to bloodthirsty werewolf. Guests will encounter David’s vicious werewolf form as he wreaks bloody chaos through London’s subway tunnel, Piccadilly Circus and more.
Full press release details are forthcoming, but this year’s other “Halloween Horror Night” attractions will include “The Walking Dead: The End of the Line,” based on AMC’s hit TV series, “From Dusk Till Dawn,” inspired by inspired by Robert Rodriguez’s cult film and El Rey network’s TV Series, “AVP: Alien vs. Predator,” based on the Twentieth Century Fox film franchise, “Face Off: In the Flesh,” based on Syfy’s TV series, and “Purge: Anarchy,” a new scare zone inspired by Universal Pictures’ blockbuster thriller. DRACULA UNTOLD was announced this past week.
