Amy Adams believes that she may be out of the DC Universe

After appearing as Lois Lane in MAN OF STEEL, BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, and JUSTICE LEAGUE, it seems that Amy Adams may be out of the DCEU, or at least that's what she believes.

While speaking with Nicole Kidman on Variety's Actors on Actors, Adams welcomed Kidman to the franchise, before revealing that she believes that she's "out of the DC Universe now." After Kidman expressed shock, Adams replied, "I think they’re revamping that. I don’t know the details." I'm not even sure if Warner Bros. knows the details of the future of the DC franchise, so don't take Amy Adams' comment as a confirmation that we'll never see her play Lois Lane again, but without a Superman movie or a Justice League sequel on the slate, I'm not about to hold my breath.

As far as other DC actors who may be leaving the franchise, there have frequently been rumblings that Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck would be hanging up their super-hero boots. Nothing has been officially confirmed, but Jason Momoa responded to the rumours while speaking with The Huffington Post.

If they're both out, then listen: It's just the place they're at in their careers. I mean, how many has Henry done? He's done three? Yeah, I mean, like, you want to move on. I think if I did… shit, I have done three. … I mean, Henry wants to just expand on something. Ben is an amazing director that is of age, and probably he's done enough. I don't know how to speak on behalf of them, but I had the time of my life [on 'Justice League'].

It's no secret that Warner Bros. have been busy reshuffling their DC franchise since the departure of Zack Snyder and I can't imagine that Superman and Batman won't be a part of its future, but Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck's involvement does seem to be up in the air. The next film in the DCEU will be AQUAMAN on December 21st.
