Something has been going on in a certain neighborhood in Los Angeles that caught the attention of fans of John Carpenter's 1978 classic HALLOWEEN. In recent days, film crews have been spotted shooting something at the houses that were used for the Wallace and Doyle homes in HALLOWEEN, something that involved frosted ground, screams, a police car, and a coroner van. This immediately stirred up speculation that the shoot had something to do with David Gordon Green and Danny McBride's upcoming reboot of HALLOWEEN, which is scheduled to reach theatres in October of 2018. The movie wasn't supposed to start filming so soon, but could Green be shooting a teaser or something at the old locations?
No. David Gordon Green isn't involved with the shoot, and it has nothing to do with HALLOWEEN. What's being filmed at the Wallace and Doyle homes are scenes for the seventh season of American Horror Story.
The connection the houses have to horror history probably won't be mentioned on the FX series, but it will be cool to see them on the show knowing that history.
Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Billy Eichner, and Billie Lourd star in the new season of American Horror Story. Showrunner Ryan Murphy has been keeping the details of the story under wraps, but it is known that the season will deal with the aftermath of last year's U.S. presidential election. The first episode begins on election night, and Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton will both be featured on the show in some way.
American Horror Story returns to FX airwaves this fall.
