American Horror Stories trailer takes Rubber Woman on a scary trip

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

A couple days ago, we saw a poster for the upcoming American Horror Story spin-off series American Horror Stories that featured the Murder House from the first season of American Horror Story, surrounded by a red field that had a person in a latex bodysuit standing in it. This person wasn't the Rubber Man from the Murder House season, but a Rubber Woman. This mysterious Rubber Woman is at the center of the newly released trailer for American Horror Stories, which follows her into the Murder House and then throws a whole lot of strange, trippy visuals at her. She even meets the Rubber Man in there! Check out the trailer in the embed above, but don't expect it to give you any solid facts about the show.

While American Horror Story tells one story over the course of an entire season when it airs on FX (at least, that has been the case, until this year's Double Feature season), American Horror Stories will consist of standalone episodes that each tell a contained story. The seven episode first season will be exclusive to the Hulu streaming service. Its premiere date is July 15th.

The cast of American Horror Stories includes American Horror Story veterans Matt Bomer, Taissa Farmiga, Naomi Grossman, Billie Lourd, and Evan Peters – and "spy pictures" taken of the production indicate that Peters is reprising the role of Tate Langdon, his Murder House character. If so, this won't be the first time he has played Tate again since American Horror Story season 1 ended. The character also made an appearance in the "Return to Murder House" episode of the eighth season, American Horror Story: Apocalypse.

Danny Trejo, Kevin McHale, Madison Bailey, Sierra McCormick, Paris Jackson, and Kaia Gerber are also in the cast.

American Horror Story regular Sarah Paulson is believed to have directed an episode of American Horror Stories.

Another poster has also arrived online, and you can see that below:
