Amazon Prime members can get tickets to see Aquaman one week early

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Are you an Amazon Prime member? Are you dying to see Aquaman to the point where you’re about burst? If you answered yes to both then you're in for a treat because now you can use your membership to the Galactic Federation of Amazon to see AQUAMAN in theaters early. That’s right, early. Not a few hours early, or one day early, but almost a whole week early. Now using your Prime account, you can get tickets to see the movie on December 15 before the movie hits theaters for all the other non-Prime folks on December 21.

A press release was put out this morning announcing how Warner Bros and Amazon were teaming up for this holiday treat, which will let Prime members travel to the underwater world of Atlantis before having to spend time with extended family during Christmas (we all know Aunt Carol doesn’t like turtles anyway). Though not at all theaters across the country, over 1,000 theaters nationwide – all at AMC, Regal, National Amusement Theaters and ArcLight Cinemas – will be showing the movie at 7 p.m. local time the weekend before it's official release. If this sounds like a neat time to you, head on over to Amazon.com/AquamanMovie to get the goods.

This should be an awesome opportunity for anyone wanting to check out this movie early, and it’s an interesting strategy for WB. Of course, Amazon gets to benefit by getting people to use those memberships, and even sign up some new people along the way. It’ll be interesting to see if this would continue with other WB movies coming out in the future, like WONDER WOMAN 1984. If so, best invest in those Prime memberships, because what are you gonna do? Wait the extra six days like everyone else? If that's the case, you can get regular tickets which are on sale now at Fandango.

Here's the synopsis:

From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be…a king.

AQUAMAN is in theaters December 21.
